Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing or using Trueday, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms apply to the iOS app and to this website.

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here. If a change materially affects your rights or what you have paid for, we will make that clear rather than relying on the date alone, and continuing to use Trueday after that point means you accept the revised Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Trueday. Trueday is rated 12+ on the App Store, and additional age restrictions may apply where you live.

Core planning works without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us at support@truedayapp.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

All payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. Trueday never sees or stores your payment details. What is on sale, and on what terms:

• Trueday Pro — Monthly: $6.99 per month, auto-renewing monthly, with a 3-day free introductory offer for new subscribers.
• Trueday Pro — Yearly: $49.99 per year, auto-renewing yearly, with a 1-week free introductory offer for new subscribers.
• Trueday Lifetime: $99.99, charged once. This is a one-time purchase and not a subscription — it does not auto-renew, and no trial or renewal terms apply to it.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged within 24 hours of the end of the period.
• Free trials: any unused portion of a free introductory offer is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Cancellation: manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and does not refund the period you are currently in.
• Price changes: if a price changes, Apple will notify you and ask for your consent before the new price is charged.

Refunds for App Store purchases are issued by Apple under Apple’s own policies, not by Trueday. We cannot issue, guarantee, or overturn a refund decision. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Trueday is not working as described, contact support@truedayapp.com — we will try to fix it, and we will support a refund request to Apple where it is warranted.

You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or break the law using it. Trueday has zero tolerance for objectionable content, harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation and abusive behaviour. Shared workspaces are private and invite-only — there is no public feed and no user discovery.

• Report: you can report any member from their profile. Reports are private and do not notify the person you reported.
• Block: you can block any member, which stops their content reaching you.
• Our commitment: we review reports of objectionable content and act on them — removing content, restricting collaboration features, or suspending or terminating accounts.
• Your content: you are responsible for what you post into a shared workspace, and for having the right to share it.

Trueday builds suggested schedules from the information you give it. It is a planning aid, not a guarantee. You remain responsible for your own commitments, deadlines and appointments. Trueday is not liable for a missed meeting, deadline, flight, or obligation, whether the cause was a scheduling suggestion, a notification that did not arrive, or a device or platform failure outside our control.

Trueday computes prayer times astronomically from your location using your chosen calculation method — Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian Authority, Umm al-Qura, University of Karachi, Tehran Institute, or Jafari — with a separate Standard or Hanafi setting for Asr. Results can differ from your local mosque or authority because of method, elevation, horizon conventions or local convention. Trueday is not a religious authority. Where it matters, verify against your local authority.

Trueday does not diagnose, treat, monitor or give advice about any medical condition, and it is not a health or fitness tracker. Any health-related feature exists only to adjust how your day is scheduled. Nothing Trueday shows you should be used to make a medical decision, and it is not a substitute for professional advice.

The Trueday software, branding and related materials are owned by Trueday or its licensors and protected by law. You keep the rights to the content you create inside the app. Weather data, where used, is provided by the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. Apple, iPhone, iPad, Siri, Face ID, HealthKit and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, or for legal or security reasons. You can stop using Trueday at any time and delete your account from Settings → Account & Subscription → Delete Account (or, if you never created an account, Erase Local Data on the same screen). Terminating your account does not by itself refund a purchase; refunds remain Apple’s decision.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trueday is provided as-is and without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or data-related damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify and hold Trueday harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these Terms, or content you post into a shared workspace.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them or of your use of Trueday. That does not deprive you of any right to bring a claim before the courts of your own country where the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you that right. Nothing here removes the protections of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
