01What makes Trueday different?
Trueday's scheduling engine weighs 16 factors simultaneously — your 24-hour energy curve, task priority, deadline proximity, dependency chains, location clusters, travel time, and prayer windows.
02Which devices does Trueday support?
Trueday runs on iPhone and iPad, on iOS 17 or later. It includes 4 widgets, Live Activities, and Siri Shortcuts. There is no Apple Watch, Mac, or Android version.
03Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data stays on your device by default, in an encrypted store protected by iOS Data Protection, and core planning works with no account at all. Optional cloud sync runs over TLS with per-user row-level security, so the database itself refuses to return your rows to anyone else. It is not iCloud.
04Is Trueday available today?
Yes. Trueday is available now on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
05Does Trueday integrate with Apple Reminders?
Yes. Trueday provides seamless integration with Apple Reminders, allowing you to automatically import tasks and schedule them according to your energy levels.
01What are Energy Cycles?
Your energy profile is a 24-hour curve mapped across 3 tiers (High, Medium, Low). The system learns your patterns over time to schedule deep work in peak focus windows.
02How does prayer integration work?
Trueday calculates prayer times using astronomical formulas (Julian-day sun position). It supports 7 methods including MWL, ISNA, and Umm Al-Qura, plus Qibla direction.
03Does it handle commute times?
Yes, Location-Aware Routing clusters tasks by area and calculates commute times between locations, building buffer time so you're never rushing.
04Can I use Siri or widgets?
Yes. Trueday supports Siri Shortcuts, home screen widgets, and Live Activity experiences on Apple platforms.
05How does energy-based scheduling work?
Our 16-factor smart engine analyzes your natural 24-hour energy curve and automatically assigns high-cognitive tasks to your peak energy windows, leaving administrative work for your afternoon slump.
01Is my personal data sold?
Never. Trueday processes smart scheduling on-device whenever possible. Our business model is Pro subscriptions, not advertising or data brokering.
02Can I sync with external calendars?
Yes. Trueday reads Apple Calendar events via EventKit so external events can block scheduling. Calendar write-back is available with Pro.
03Do I need an account to use Trueday?
No. Local-first use does not require an account. An account is only needed if you choose cloud sync or other account-based services.
04How do I request my data or deletion?
Use the Privacy Policy and Data Rights pages on this site to submit an access or deletion request.
05Is Trueday local-first privacy?
Absolutely. Trueday operates on a local-first privacy model, meaning your data stays on your device by default. You can use the app without an account, ensuring complete privacy.
01Is Trueday free?
Yes. The Free tier includes 25 active tasks, 3 saved locations, one widget, focus timer access, Apple Calendar read sync, and local export and backup tools.
02What happens if I cancel Pro?
You transition to the Free tier. Your data stays intact, but Pro-only features such as unlimited tasks, unlimited locations, cloud sync, Apple Calendar write-back, goals, smart auto-defer, and natural-language task creation are no longer available.
03How will I be billed?
Paid plans are billed through Apple's in-app purchase system using your App Store account.
04Can I request a refund?
Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
